City restaurant in ‘50 Best Discovery’ list

The 50 Best Discovery list by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, which has been identifying some of the best restaurants in the world through its annual rankings, recently recognised city restaurant Avartana at ITC Grand Chola on its platform.

The list, which allows diners from around the world to discover noteworthy restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, named the restaurant as its sole mention from Chennai. Avartana has been presenting South Indian food as a blend of traditional and progressive renditions. The recognition shows ITC’s efforts to present “innovative concepts while retaining the integrity of the cuisine,” said Chief Executive of ITC Hotels & Welcomhotels Dipak Haksar in a statement.
