Chennai: Elderly man gored to death by bull in Mogappair

According to the Nolambur police, the deceased man was identified as T Balaraman of Mogappair West, a housekeeping staff at a private college in Maduravoyal.

CHENNAI: A 65-year-old man was gored to death by a bull in Mogappair on Monday and the cattle owner was booked.

According to the Nolambur police, the deceased man was identified as T Balaraman of Mogappair West, a housekeeping staff at a private college in Maduravoyal.

On Monday evening, Balaraman was walking along the road near his residence when the bull that was standing nearby started attacking him.

He was flung a few feet away and sustained severe head injuries. He was rushed to a hospital by passersby, where he was declared dead. Investigations revealed the bull had attacked many in the neighbourhood.
