Cancellation of EMU train services in Chennai Beach–Chengalpattu Section

Chennai Beach– Tirumalpur EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 07:27 am, Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 09:31 am, 09:51 am, 10 :56 am, 11:40 am, 12 :55 pm will be fully cancelled on Friday.

CHENNAI: Several EMU trains are fully cancelled in Chennai Beach- Chengalpattu section on Friday owing to engineering works. Passenger specials would be operated in lieu of the cancelled trains, said a Southern Railway press release.

Chennai Beach– Tirumalpur EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 07:27 am, Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 09:31 am, 09:51 am, 10 :56 am, 11:40 am, 12 :55 pm will be fully cancelled on Friday. Tirumalpur - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Tirumalpur at 11:05 am, Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Chengalpattu at 11:30 am, 12:00 pm, 1: 10 pm, 1 :45 pm, 2:20 pm are also cancelled.

In lieu of the cancelled EMU trains, Passenger specials will be operated on Friday. Passenger specials between Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu passenger special leaving Chennai Beach at 07.27 am, Chennai Beach – Singaperumal Koil, leaving Chennai Beach at 09.31 am, 10.56 am, 12: 25 pm would be operated. Chennai Beach – Kattangulathur, leaving Chennai Beach at 09.51 am, 11: 40 am, Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach, leaving Chengalpattu at 09.45 am, Singaperumal Koil - Chennai Beach, leaving Singaperumal Koil at 11.43 am, 1:23 pm, 2 :33 pm, Kattangulathur - Chennai Beach, leaving Kattangulathur at 12.20 pm, 2 :05 pm would be operated, added the release.
