Autism workshop focuses on mindfulness in kids

The Child Development Centre of Dr Kamakshi Memorial Hospital organised a workshop for parents of children with challenging behaviours and autism recently.

As many as 85 parents participated in the workshop presided over by medical director and chairman 

Dr TG Govindaraja. The workshop emphasised the social and emotional co-regulation between the mother and child in routine activities and how communication skills and mindfulness in children can be improved.
