The special flight from Chicago arrived with 63 onboard, followed by the flight from Dubai with 172 passengers. Later, 173 passengers arrived from Kuwait. All the 408 passengers, after completing medical tests along with the customs and the immigration check, were taken for 14-day quarantine. As many as 267 passengers chose free camp and 139 passengers decided to stay in hotels. The two passengers who got permission from the government were allowed to chose home quarantine. On Thursday evening, a special flight from Oman arrived with 162 employees of a private firm. After completing the customs and immigration check, they were taken to private hotels in Chennai.
