Semmanchery police arrested Jayaraj and Sakthivel who snatched a 1.5-sovereign chain from one Maheshkumar on February 26. Similarly, a team led by Guindy Assistant Commissioner Subbarayan arrested one Sasikumar on Tuesday for snatching a seven-sovereign chain from one Shenbagavalli on June 12. Adyar Deputy Commissioner V Vikaraman requested residents to call 87544 01111 and inform if they are away from home.
