As many as 15 mobile phones and a motorbike used for the offences were seized from the accused identified as D Jegan (22) alias Poochi of Manali and a 17-year-old boy.
The police said that they were secured with the help of CCTV footage after they snatched a mobile phone from one Neerajkumar near Broadway bus terminus on November 24.
The bike’s registration number was established with which the suspects were nabbed, the police said.
Investigation revealed that they were behind many such crimes across the city.
Jegan was remanded in judicial custody and the juvenile was sent to an observation home.
