KUMBAKONAM: Zoho Corporation on Friday announced the launch of Zoho ERP, a comprehensive, AI-native enterprise resource planning solution for Indian businesses. The product was launched from Kumbakonam, a rural town in Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, where part of the Zoho ERP team operates from Zoho’s regional office.
From a 20-member team, Zoho has ramped up to 200 people, as part of its efforts to replicate the Tenkasi model.
Its founder and chief scientist Sridhar Vembu said plans are afoot to set up a campus with a capacity to house 2,000 people.
Sivaramakrishnan Iswaran, Global Head of Finance and Operations BU at Zoho and CEO of Zoho Payment Technologies, giving an overview of the new ERP product said global ERPs are retrofitted for India and are not designed for evolving regulations like GST, e-invoicing.
The new launch is the culmination of 18 years of work when the team was small.
Zoho ERP is priced at Rs 2,999 per user for monthly use and Rs 2,499 per user for annual subscription.
The addressable market is pegged at $300 billion. Zoho suite scaled from small to very large enterprises.
