Volkswagen plans to launch 4 new SUVs in India in 2020-21

Volkswagen Passenger Cars India will unveil its biggest SUV offensive, with the launch of four new SUVs within two years.

"Owing to ever increasing consumer preferences for the SUVs, the Volkswagen brand plans to heavily focus on introducing its global line-up of SUV portfolio for the Indian market," the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Besides, starting this February the company will showcase its electric vehicle based on the 'MEB platform' along with the world premiere of the 'A0' SUV under the Group's India 2.0 project.
