CHENNAI: Realty player Sumadhura Group backed its entry into Chennai with a Rs 400 crore investment for a grade A built-to-suit industrial & logistics park in Red Hills, north Chennai.

The project marks the company's strategic expansion into one of south India's largest logistics hubs and reinforces its commitment to strengthening India's modern supply chain infrastructure.

Spread across 52 acres, the project will offer 1.2 million sq. ft. of warehousing space, generate around 2,500 employment opportunities and is to be completed by December 2028.

This expansion adds to Sumadhura's warehousing footprint in Bengaluru, where the Group operates Sumadhura Logistics Park, a 2.5 million sqft grade A+ facility in Hoskote, with marquee occupiers including Nippon Express (NX Logistics), Amazon,  Zepto and Zomato among others.
