JKB Infrastructure has joined hands with French national railway company SNCF for the station redevelopment project of Indian Railways.

The railway station modernisation programme aims to redevelop, reconstruct, and renovate India's key railway stations and bring them to world-class standards.

The project focuses on key stations across 100 cities and which carry 16 million passengers per day.

SNCF, which has expertise on design, development and operation of multi-modal transit hubs across the globe, is not new to the Indian market. They have worked with Indian Railways previously for the Ambala, Ludhiana and CSTM (Mumbai) stations.
