Led by Ensono CEO Jeff VonDeylen, the Chennai’s office’s launch event was held on Thursday. The city office will host over 200 associates. The other facility is in Pune with nearly 300 associates. The facilities in Chennai and Pune have been built specifically for Ensono with the anticipation of continued growth.

The country is a major destination for IT firms from across the world, having proven its capabilities in delivering both on-shore and off-shore services. India’s IT&ITeS industry grew to $ 167 billion in 2017-18 and is gaining prominence in terms of intellectual capital with several global IT firms setting up their innovation centres in India.

This is Ensono’s third acquisition in less than three years. By adding Wipro’s Hosted Data Center Services business, Ensono has nearly doubled in size, expanded its client portfolio, and increased its annual revenue to more than $550 million. India marks the fifth country with

Ensono offices, and as a leading provider of managed services, Ensono’s India presence will allow it to better meet client needs through its expanding global presence and scalability.

“The skilled, dedicated workforce in both is astounding, and we’re honoured to open our first India-based offices,” said VonDeylen. “We’re looking forward to hosting clients, new staff and the community in these celebrations. The growth and possibilities that come with these office openings is both motivating and humbling.”

Ensono’s broad services portfolio from mainframe to cloud, powered by an intelligent governance platform, is designed to help the clients operate and optimise their workflows.
