CHENNAI: Elgi Equipments Limited, one of the world’s leading air compressor manufacturers, announced the inauguration of its vacuum pump assembly line at its headquarters in Coimbatore.
The new facility marks a significant milestone in Elgi’s strategic expansion into the vacuum solutions space, strengthening its commitment to manufacturing excellence, quality leadership, and global competitiveness.
The assembly line builds on Elgi’s multi-year technology licensing agreement with DVP Vacuum Technology SpA, Italy, under which Elgi manufactures, assembles, tests, and markets DVP’s proprietary vacuum products in India.
