Release of 'Thalapathy' Vijay's much awaited action film Master has been pushed since April following the pandemic crisis.

The film's co-producer Lalit Kumar has clarified as to why Diwali release won't be feasible. He said the 50 percent occupancy regime will not be lucrative for such a big ticket film.

Vijay has a global brand value, the situation should be ripe for a universal release only then Master will hit screens, added Lalit.

As far as Pongal release is concerned he says he isn't sure about it right now.

Tamil Nadu government in its recent set of relaxations has allowed theatres a staggered 50 percent occupancy from November 10.
