CHENNAI: Yes, you heard it right. Tech giant Apple yet again gets into trouble. Justice Ministry of Brazil has banned Apple’s iPhone for not, including a charger inside the box, and also has been fined a whopping amount of more than $ 2 million. According to a statement, the company has already faced many backlashes from Brazilian government though still continued to sell its mobile devices excluding charger from the box without even bothering the prohibition of sale, which was just announced before the day of the launch event.

According to an official “The reason behind Apple excluding charger from box comes with an Environmental concern”

The idea of not adding charger brick, earphones & only including lightning cable was initiated in 2020 in the launch of iphone 12. However there’s no justification for this operation which aims to reduce carbon emissions and its only being just a way by making consumers spend more on their products.

According to Brazilian daily, iphone12 is still on sale and is being available for purchase on Apple website.

Meanwhile, the Europe Union is also pressuring Apple to ditch it’s all-time best Lightning port and should adapt universal USB type C port.
