Brahmotsavam begins in Thiruvallur Veeraraghavar temple

On Friday, adhering to 'Thai Amavasai', Lord Perumal will be indulged in 'Ratnangi Sevai'.

The 'Thai' month special Brahmotsavam has begun in Thiruvallur Veeraraghavar temple from Tuesday. The popular chariot festival for Lord Perumal will commence from next Monday.

Lord Veeraraghava Perumal strolled the streets on Tuesday morning as a part of the traditional 'Veedhi Ula' ritual. He was seen along with his consorts Sridevi-Boodhevi.

On Wednesday morning, Lord Perumal will be seen in Hamsa Vaahana, while in the night he will bless the devotees through 'Veedhi Ula'.

On Thursday morning, which will be the third day of Brahmotsava, Lord Perumal will indulge in 'Garuda Sevai'.

On Friday, adhering to 'Thai Amavasai', Lord Perumal will be indulged in 'Ratnangi Sevai'.

On 27th January, the popular chariot festival will take place. On 30th January, by 8 pm, Lord Perumal will be in a special attire to bless the devotees.
