Political analyst’s ‘short and suit’ TV interview

When Jordanian political analyst Majid Asfour went live on television for an interview using Skype, he hardly expected to turn into the butt of internet jokes.

migrator

Majid Asfour in an attempt to escape the scorching heat of Jordan’s climate chose to wear a formal shirt tie and suit with shorts for the interview. After all, his legs would remain outside the frame and no one could possibly know he was not wearing pants.

But he was quickly proven wrong when his own son decided to film the entire episode and upload it on the net. The video is now going viral.

Majid Asfour had gone on air to talk about last month’s shooting at the Israeli embassy in Amman. Many on the internet drew parallels between this incident and another one where Robert Kelly, a professor, was interrupted by his kids while he was live on television.
