Simbu’s fans who were eagerly waiting for STR’s picture mistook Shirish for STR. “I had lost 10 to 12 kilos this lockdown and wanted to take a photoshoot after that. I posted it on social media but I did not imagine this to happen,” the actor told DT Next. Shirish added that he doesn’t feel awkward about being compared to STR. “We both are good friends and I have always admired STR. So, I don’t think there is anything bad in being compared or people saying that we both look alike. Coincidentally, we both lost weight and posted pictures at the same time,” he said. Shirish has films like Pistha and another film under Yuvan’s production. He will also begin shooting for a web series in the coming days.
