According to a report published in the Robb Report, the Bucks are the gateway to white-shoe territory. They were named after their nubuck leather construction and they were once an Ivy staple.
David Coggins, the author of the bestseller “Men and Style,” had put on a pair of shoes on the cover of the book.
“I was originally intimidated by my first pair of white dollars. I couldn’t imagine my life without them. I think men are naturally reluctant to wear shoes that look amazingly white,” he said. told Robb Report.
“It takes a feeling of fearlessness at first. They look immaculate and awesome, but they really rise to white goat heaven when they get dirty and become yours,” Coggins added.
