Designer makes free-flowing jumpsuits for all body types

Designer Kirthana Ravi’s clothing label Arodhi is making pocket-friendly jumpsuits suitable for all body types. Going the unconventional way, these jumpsuits are made in khadi and cotton fabrics.

“Most of the jumpsuits come in one size that fits all. But that doesn’t suit some people’s body types. I wanted to make jumpsuits that would fit all body types. That’s how I started making free-flowing jumpsuits through my label Arodhi,” says Kirthana.

The reasonably priced jumpsuits are made with natural fabrics like cotton, jute, chanderi, and khadi. “Since the jumpsuits are baggy and are made with natural fabrics, people find it very comfortable to wear in our weather conditions. Our dhoti jumpsuits get a lot of orders. Most of our jumpsuits come in bright colours and customers love it.” Kirthana does not discard the leftover fabrics - she uses them to make other small dresses or use them as patchwork for cushions.
