On Thursday, the much-awaited second single from Jana Nayagan, headlined by Vijay, was released. Touted to be the actor-politician’s last film as he is planning to focus on his political life henceforth, the movie is directed by H Vinoth.
Titled Oru Pere Varalaaru, the single pays a fitting tribute to Vijay’s film journey and his popularity among fans. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander and dialogues by Vijay himself, the impactful lyrics are penned by Vivek. Vishal Mishra and Anirudh lent their vocals for the song. The audio launch is set to take place in Malaysia on December 27.
Pooja Hegde is playing the lead lady, while Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, and Mamitha Baiju, among others, will be seen in key roles. The first look and title of the highly anticipated project were unveiled in January.

Jana Nayagan is scheduled to hit the screens on January 9, marking the festival of Pongal.
