CHENNAI: Acclaimed Kollywood director Atlee Kumar, who is currently helming Shah Rukh Khan's much-anticipated film Jawan, celebrated his 36th birthday today. As a surprise to the fans, he shared a picture of him with actors Vijay and Shah Rukh Khan.
The young director, who made three films with Vijay, took to the micro-blogging platform Twitter and tweeted, "What more can I ask on my bday , the best bday ever wit my pillars. My dear @iamsrk sir & ennoda annae ennoda thalapathy @actorvijay ❤️❤️❤️." (sic)
Jawan features actress Nayanthara alongside SRK, marking their first collaboration and the actress's Bollywood debut. A promo video of Jawan was unveiled by makers a few months ago, which also revealed the release date of the film. The film is set to release in cinemas in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada in June 2023.
Earlier, the Bollywood star's picture did the rounds on social media along with Kollywood celebs when he attended the wedding of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan that happened at Sheraton Grand, Chennai.
