Welcome to parenthood: Karthi’s sweet message to Nayan-Wikki

Sharing the news, Vignesh Shivan took to his Instagram story and shared a picture of a flower bouquet with a note that read: “Welcome to parenthood! God bless you four! - Karthi.”

CHENNAI: Actor Karthi, who was recently seen as Vallavaraiyan Vanthiyadevan in 'Ponniyin Selvan', sent his wishes for Kollywood couple, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, who welcomed twin baby boys on Monday.

Sharing the news, Vignesh Shivan took to his Instagram story and shared a picture of flower bouquet with a note that read: “Welcome to parenthood! God bless you four! - Karthi.”

Earlier, the director, who tied the knot with the actor Nayanthara in June, took to his social media handles to share the news with fans and followers. He tweeted, "Nayan & Me have become Amma & Appa. We are blessed with twin baby Boys. All Our prayers, our ancestors' blessings combined with all the good manifestations made, have come 2gethr in the form Of 2 blessed babies for us. Need all ur blessings for our Uyir & Ulagam." (sic)

After the announcement, social media erupted with speculations and questions on whether procedures stipulated by the Indian surrogacy laws were followed by the duo. While the duo has not made an official statement, a few unverified reports surfaced that the babies were conceived through surrogacy.
