CHENNAI: The trailer of the highly-anticipated action-thriller Cobra starring Chiyaan Vikram was released today. In the 2-minute-long video, Vikram, who plays a brilliant mathematician to solve crimes in the film, impresses fans with various avatars, including old man, business tycoon, and teacher, and promises to be high on thriller-action mode.

Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by Seven Screen Studio, the film, which features Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, has triggered a lot of interest as it will also mark the acting debut of former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, who plays the villain in the film.

The film is slated to hit the big screens on August 31
