CHENNAI: Actor Silambarasan TR has thanked the actor Suriya as the latter wished the Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu team on its release day.

The two-part film follows the life of Muthu (Silambarasan TR) who comes to Mumbai in a penurious condition to take over the maximum city's underworld. Director Gautham Vasudev Menon has teamed with writer Jeyamohan for the film and songs crooned by AR Rahman have turned out to be instant favourites among fans.
