Soon, actor Chiranjeevi announced that he would star as the lead in Lucifer’s Telugu remake. Now, the latest buzz is that actress Suhasini Maniratnam is in talks to portray the sister of Chiranjeevi’s character, a role that was performed by Manju Warrier in the original flick. Reports suggest that Suhasini has shown interest to be a part of the remake. An official announcement is expected in the coming days. It is worth mentioning that actress Vijayashanthi was also considered for this role. The remake will be produced under the banner of Konidela Production Company and the project will be helmed by director Sujeeth of Saaho fame. Meanwhile, Suhasini will also be seen in James Vasanthan’s Oh, Andha Naatkal!, whereas Chiranjeevi will soon start shooting of his upcoming movie Acharya directed by Koratala Siva.
