The makers of the film released the actor’s first look on Thursday in which it is revealed that he plays an aircraft pilot. Talking about Simbu’s role in the film, director UR Jameel told DT Next, “He plays an aviator and his role is inspired from a real-life pilot, who lived in Goa in the 90s. Simbu’s portions will be loosely based on the character. We have shot quite a few portions of him and will resume the shooting in a few days.

The film which went on floors early last year still has 10 more days of shooting to be completed. “We will be shooting those portions in Delhi, Puducherry and Chennai as we were hunting for the airport’s availability. Simbu’s portion will be shot in a live aircraft and not in the sets. That is the reason for the film’s delay. In fact, Simbu has been texting me every day saying that he is ready to shoot. The film has shaped up really well and once we finish shooting the remaining portions, we will make further announcements,” concluded Jameel.
