Ssivada Nair roped in for Maddy’s Maara

Early last year, we had reported that Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath will come together for the second time post Vikram Vedha for a film titled Maara. Helmed by debutant director Dhilip Kumar, the film was stalled through last year as Madhavan was busy with Rocketry and Silence.

The latest is that the team has resumed shooting for the film and has roped in actress Ssivada Nair as another female lead in the flick. The actress was last seen in Adhey Kangal in Tamil and Chanakya Thanthiram in Malayalam. Ssivada also has Iravakaalam with SJ Suryah and Vallavanuku Vallavan with Bobby Simha in various stages of production. Maara has music composed by Ghibran, while Karthik Muthukumar handles the cinematography. The film is produced by Pramod Films. Sources close to the movie unit tell us that only small portions of the film are left to be shot.
