CHENNAI: Arasan will have Silambarasan TR in front of the camera after Thug Life, much to the delight of his fans. The much-anticipated project, helmed by Vetrimaaran, has finally gone on floors in Madurai. The shooting of this schedule is expected to be completed by December end.
STR is seen in a young look, which says that the makers are shooting for the flashback portions from the film. A few days ago, Vijay Sethupathi came onboard. For the unversed, Vijay Sethupathi was earlier a part of Dhanush’s Vada Chennai when it was planned by Vetrimaaran in the initial stages along with Dhanush and Jiiva in the last decade.
Andrea Jeremiah too confirmed her participation in the movie. Belonging to the world of Vada Chennai, Arasan will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. Kalippuli S Thanu is backing the film. Velraj is the cinematographer, while R Ramar is the editor.
DT Next had earlier reported that Samantha had been approached to play the female lead. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers yet.
