Sethu to play Nasser’s son in Thalaivan Irukkiraan?

Vijay Sethupathi, who is awaiting the release of Master and Ka Pae Ranasingam is the latest addition to the cast of Thalaivan Irukkiran. A few months ago, Kamal Haasan announced that he will be shooting for the sequel to Thevar Magan which has been titled Thalaivan Irukkiran. With AR Rahman, Revathy and Vadivel already on board for the project, there was speculations over other members of the cast. The latest confirmation is that Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a character with shades of grey. The actor will play Nasser’s son in the film and is pitted against Kamal Haasan’s character of Sakthivel. A tinseltown source said that Andrea Jeremiah hs also been approached for one of the pivotal roles in the film.

While Pooja Kumar was speculated to play an important character in the film, the actress recently denied that she was part of the cast in Thalaivan Irukkiran. The movie will be made on a grand scale and will talk about caste, education system, state of the economy, and politics. Thalaivan Irukkiran will go on floors after Kamal wraps up Indian 2 later this year.
