CHENNAI: Actor Samantha joined the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other global leaders at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, for the Republic Day At-Home reception.
Samantha wrote, “Growing up, there were no cheerleaders, no inner voice that ever suggested, I’d be here one day. No roadmap. Dreams like this felt too big to imagine. I just kept showing up, in a country that allowed that to be enough. Forever grateful.”
The evening witnessed the presence of President of the European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen and President of the European Council Antonio Costa, along with distinguished voices.
