The film follows Revanth, a Christian Zumba instructor, and Mounika, an upper-caste Hindu woman, who fall in love after moving to the city. Their relationship is tested by caste divisions and social resistance as they struggle to build a life together.

A commercial success on its original release in the post-pandemic period, Love Story garnered around Rs 100 crore worldwide, and received particular praise for Sai Pallavi’s performance, including her dance sequence in the Saranga Dariya song.
