The latest news is that Ramya Krishnan has been roped in to play Tabu’s role in the Tamil remake of Andhadhun. “The actress has given the nod and will sign the dotted lines soon,” a source told DT Next. The film is expected to go on floors in April this year. Prashanth has shed almost 20 kilos to play the role. Mohan Raja and Thiagarajan recently met Sriram Raghavan (the director of the original) in Mumbai. Andhadhun is about a pianist who gets entangled in the murder of an ex-actor. The film had Radhika Apte playing the female lead and raked in Rs 456 crore at the box-office.
