Ramya for Tabu’s role in Andhadhun remake?

It’s been only a couple of days since we reported that producer Thiagarajan had roped in director Mohan Raja to helm the Tamil remake of hit Bollywood flick, Andhadhun, which will feature actor Prashanth in the lead role.

The film is currently in the pre-production stage and the shooting is expected to kickstart soon. Now, we hear that popular actress Ramya Krishnan has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. A source close to the team says, “Ramya Krishnan will be reprising the character played by Tabu in the original. Thiagarajan initially approached Tabu for the remake as well. However, she turned down the offer.”

Andhadhun is an intense crime thriller that revolves around a pianist who gets entangled in the murder of a veteran actor. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film also featured Radhika Apte and Anil Dhawan in pivotal roles.
