Raai Laxmi’s last Tamil film, Neeya 2, which released in May 2019, opened to mixed response from the audience. The actress later signed two Tamil films — one a horror thriller titled Cindrella and another one is Miruga.
Now, it looks like, the Dhaam Dhoom star is all set to foray into digital space with a Hindi web series titled Poison 2, directed by Vishal Pandya. Raai Laxmi took to Twitter to reveal the first look poster of the series and wrote, “My first venture into the world of web! Brace yourselves for my next! As I debut with @zee5 for the second season of a succe. This April we set the temperatures soaring with some high voltage drama - a story of love and revenge #comingsoon #Poison2 #zee5 #zee5shows.”(sic)
Poison 2 will also mark the digital debut of actor Aftab Shivdasani and the script is said to be way different from season 1. The series also features actors like Pooja Chopra, Gautam Gulati and Taher Shabbir. The makers are planning to release it on April 30 on ZEE5. Meanwhile, Raai Laxmi is also waiting for the release of her Kannada film titled Jhansi.
