The latest we hear is that Priya Bhavani Shankar, who already has more than two films in her kitty, has been roped in to play the female lead in the film.
A source close to the team says, “Priya Bhavani Shankar has been confirmed for the project, and the entire script will revolve around her character. Being a sports drama, she will be seen playing a sports person in the film.
An official announcement will be made soon.” We also hear that the makers are in the hunt for another female lead, and it will be finalised in a couple of weeks.
Priya Bhavani Shankar has recently completed shooting for Radha Mohan’s project, which has SJ Suryah in the lead role. She is also waiting for the release of Mafia, directed by Karthik Naren.
