Premgi roped in for Suresh Sangiah’s next

Premgi Amaren, who was last seen playing one of the leads in Bharath’s Simba, has signed his next. Reliable sources say that the composer-comedian has been roped in to play the lead in a film helmed by director Suresh Sangiah, who shot to fame in Tamil with critically-acclaimed film, Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu.

A source close to the team says, “Premgi has agreed to be a part of the film. However, he is yet to sign on the dotted lines. His characterisation will be very different from his previous films. Though he plays the lead, the film won’t have any comic elements in it. An official announcement will be made in a couple of weeks.”

The source also adds that Premgi might compose music for the film as well. “The shoot of the film will begin in January 2020. Major portions of the film are set in a village backdrop. Reshma Pasupuleti of Bigg Boss 3 fame has been roped in for a crucial role,” the source adds.
