CHENNAI: A few days ago, Kamal Haasan announced that he would not host the next season of Bigg Boss Tamil. He has been associated with the reality show since its inception. After this, there was speculation on social media that Vijay Sethupathi, Silambarasan TR or Nayanthara might take up the space.
On Wednesday, the makers of Bigg Boss Tamil announced that actor Vijay Sethupathi will be hosting Season 8. Sharing the promo video, the makers tweeted, “Vandhaachu Pudhu Bigg Boss (sic),” which translates to the arrival of the new Bigg Boss.
This is not the first time the audience will be witnessing Vijay Sethupathi as a host. Previously, he was a part of MasterChef Tamil.
