The latest is that the film started rolling in Tirunelveli over the weekend. However, an interesting update we hear from the unit is that the director is busy auditioning youngsters from Tirunelveli and nearby towns to rope them in for a few pivotal rules in the film. A source close to the film’s unit told DT Next, “The intense script needs a few local people to be able to pull off the characters naturally. There will be a workshop after the audition to train them for the role.” Yogi Babu too will be playing a character role in this flick, which is tentatively titled D41.

The film has music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Theni Eswar and editing by Selva RK. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under his V Creations banner and is expected to be released in the second half of this year.
