CHENNAI: Bankrolled by Zee Studios, in association with NAAD Studios and Trident Arts, actor Nayanthara’s 75th film is titled as Annapoorani - The Goddess Of Food. Billed to be a family entertainer, the film is written and directed by Nilesh Krishnaa.

The star cast includes Jai, Sathyaraj, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsley and Achyuth Kumar, among others. Jai will be sharing the screen space with Nayanthara after Raja Rani. Annapoorani - The Goddess of Food has Chennai and Tiruchy as the backdrop, and features musical score by Thaman S.

The project went on floors in the city on March 17. Earlier, in an interview with DT Next, Nilesh Krishnaa said, “This is a milestone film for Nayanthara and is a huge responsibility. Moreover, she commands a huge respect off camera, and this film revolves around it. I have ensured that the movie doesn’t have any flavours of Raja Rani when it comes to Nayanthara-Jai’s on screen bond.”

Sathyan Sooryan is handling cinematography and Praveen Antony is overseeing editing works. Updates about the release date, teaser and trailer will be made by the makers in the upcoming days.
