Mani’s productional venture to release on February 7

Earlier, we had reported that Mani Ratnam is producing a film titled Vaanam Kottatum, featuring Sarathkumar, Radikaa and Vikram Prabhu in the lead roles. The latest we hear is that the makers have completed shooting for the film and they are planning to release it on February 7.

The film is touted to be a complete family entertainer which revolves around brother-sister relationship. Mani Ratnam, who penned the story, was originally supposed to direct the project. However, due to his other commitments the project was helmed by his associate Dhanasekharan. Vaanam Kottatum also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Madonna Sebastian, Shanthanu and Balaji Sakthivel in pivotal roles. The film also marks the debut of singer Sid Sriram as a composer.
