The latest we hear is that Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat, who has earlier worked in popular Tamil films like Dasavatharam and Osthi, has been roped in to play one of the leads in the film. Reliable sources say that the producers have paid a huge remuneration to bring her on board for the project. “Mallika Sherawat will be seen playing the role of a queen in the film. She was impressed with the script and gave bulk dates for the project. Paambaattam will be an interesting horror thriller and major portions will be shot in Mumbai and Chennai.” Producer V Pazhanivel under his home banner Pazhanivel Film Garden is producing the project, which will be released in multiple languages — Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. It is worth noting that Vadivudaiyan earlier announced that he had started working on a war film titled Veeramadevi with Sunny Leone in the lead role. However, it looks like, the film has been shelved due to various reasons.
