On choosing Lavanya Tripathi for the role, Ravindra said, “We have been on the look out for a heroine for quite some time now. To carry out this role, we need someone who is graceful and is a performer. Lavanya ticked all the boxes and we couldn’t think of any other actress beyond her.” Divulging more on her role, the director said, “The role isn’t that of a stereotypical heroine who will be a mere prop. She will be seen throughout the film in a character that is mature and bold. Her face off with the film’s antagonist is one of the most intriguing scenes in the film. Her presence will be a value addition to the script.” The film will have Atharvaa playing a cop for the second time after 100. Meanwhile, Lavanya Tripathi is shooting for her Telugu film A1 Express in which she is a hockey player.
