According to a statement issued by Film Employees’ Federation of South India (FEFSI), editing of movies like Indian 2, Master, Chakra and Raangi has resumed while dubbing for Kabadadaari, Badam Kheer, Pei Mama, Chinnathaa Oru Padam, among others, have started in full swing.

The statement also stated that the re-recording work for Kumki 2 and sound mixing for Vellai Yanai would resume. The recommencement of these activities comes a few days after the industry received a nod from the government following a request by Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and FEFSI. The producers had said, “Post-production activities including editing, dubbing, DI (Digital Intermediary), background music score, sound effects, foley, and mixing can all be done with a team of just four or five people while VFX/CGI work will require only 10 or 15”. They had assured that social distancing norms would be followed while conducting post-production work and sanitation and hygiene would be a priority.
