Karthik Subbaraj to release Sasidharan’s indie film in Tamil

Director Karthik Subbaraj, who has bankrolled films like Meyaadha Maan and Keerthy Suresh’s Penguin is all set to venture into distribution. His production house Stone Bench has announced that they will release the Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s Malayalam film Chola dubbed in Tamil and titled as Alli.

“We want to bring these movies to theatres here to reach a wider audience. This, we hope, would give a huge boost to independent filmmakers and also give the public a chance at large to watch these amazing movies on the big screen,” reads a statement from Stone Bench.
