Karthi likely to sign PS Mithran’s upcoming film

Post the success of Irumbu Thirai, PS Mithran came up with a superhero film titled Hero, featuring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. The film garnered decent response from both the critics and the audience. The latest we hear is that, Mithran has roped in actor Karthi to play the lead in one of his upcoming films.

A source in the know of things says, “Karthi was very much impressed with Mithran’s Hero and called him for a meet. That’s when the director narrated him the script and Karthi expressed his interest to be a part of it. However, everything is in the initial stage.” We also hear that, Mithran’s third film, too, will have Yuvan Shankar Raja as the composer.


Meanwhile, the director is also working on the pre-production of Hero 2, which will go on floors by the end of 2020.
