Kamal Haasan himself responded and wrote in Tamil, loosely translated as, “Every artiste will have doubts if their work will be noticed by fans. This person has observed my expressions, moves and has danced to it. What a proud moment... Long live son. My happiness is to see my work enjoyed by different generations.”

After seeing Kamal’s tweet, Ashwin expressed his surprise and delight. He wrote, “I am speechless and I really don’t know how to react.” The actor tagged some of his friends to thank them and added, “There are many more souls who have genuinely made this happen. I am shivering.” (sic)
