The latest is that the makers have roped in Kajal Aggarwal for the role. A source said that Kajal has agreed to be a part of the film but is yet to sign the dotted lines. Kajal already has Indian 2 and a remake of a Korean film in the pipeline. She also has Hey Sinamika with Dulquer and Aditi Rao Hydari. Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya is touted to be an action entertainer. The movie will revolve around a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation of temple funds and donations. Ram Charan might play Chiranjeevi’s younger version in the flashback portion.
