She donated medical equipments for pediatric care and provided the cash to improve the Children's ward in the hospital. It was reported that the actress found that the hospital was in need when she was shooting in Thanjavore and came forward to help.

Film Director Saravanan handed the donations to the Health Minister Vijaya Bhaskar, who thanked Jyothika.

Thanjavore Collector Govinda Rao also appreciated the actress for her contribution.
