Talking to DT Next, the director of the film Santhosh (a former assistant to director Sasi), said, “We were planning to go on floors in March and that is when the lockdown was announced. Jiiva heard the script a few months ago and he was laughing on the sets even today when his portions were shot. This is a rom-com in which he plays a happy-go-lucky youngster. He still looks the way he used to a few years ago—young and charming.” The film has Kashmira Pardesi and Pragya Nagra as the leading ladies. “It also has VTV Ganesh, Sha Ra, and Siddique in other important roles. We have our next schedules planned in Coimbatore and will shoot for 50 days across other locations too. I am glad that Choudary sir, who has delivered several blockbusters in Tamil cinema under his banner Super Good Films agreed to produce this as his 91st venture,” added Santhosh.
